SWIFT, the system banks use to send payment instructions worth trillions of dollars each day was hacked three times. Files released by the mysterious hacker Shadow Brokers suggested Friday the US National Security Agency had penetrated the SWIFT banking network and monitored a number of Middle East banks.  the US National Security Agency had penetrated the SWIFT banking network and monitored a number of Middle East banks.

Can this signal the coming of age of Blockchain based financial system?
